Well, women in general just don't tend to have sexual paraphilias around anything at the rate that men do. Certainly, there are probably some women out there with foot fetishes, but for the most part the whole phenomenon of sexual paraphilias appears far more linked with male sexuality.

I once heard a theory that foot fetish comes from people walking in on their parents naked (bathroom/bedroom whatever) and the immediate reaction is to look down and then they see feet - so a weird mix of sexual organs, shame, and feet creates the fucked up foot fetish.

Might not be healthy for the psyche, but fetishes and human sexuality aren't really things you get to choose. But it's objectively kind of weird. Most foot fetishists would probably rather have “normal” kinks.

Studies have shown lesbians and gays like feet roughly at the same rate as heterosexuals (5% as their sexual trigger, 50% something they check out). Women on sites saying they are interested in feet are usually guys in disguise lel.

Regardless of gender and sexual orientation, desire to kiss and sniff feet is both weird and gross. As for desire to massage feet, it is relatively normal but still not very understandable.
