Default In which regions of your country are people most/least likely to speak with a stereotypical accent?

In the UK, when it comes to the Celtic countries, the Welsh are the least likely to have a stereotypical accent and the Irish the most likely to do so. (OK, the Republic of Ireland isn't part of the UK anyway, but the North still is). As for England itself, most accents across the North of England (except maybe some rhotic accents found in parts of Lancashire) are still going strong, while by contrast the rural rhotic accents of the West Country and especially East Anglia are very much on their way out.

In case of Polish it's tough question but I would risk saying teritories Poland gained after WWII(darker ones on the picture) have the most stereotypical Polish sounding because there is no specific dialect in there

I think you misunderstood the question. What I meant was: in which regions are people more likely to speak with a regional accent, and in which regions are they less likely to speak with a regional accent?

ten years ago I was to Satem's Lublin, and in the offices, shops (sales team), they spoke standard Polish, but on the bus station etc - my ears were hurted / harmed by local grandmas

Crete and Thessaly host the most stereotypical accents.

Butthurt Peloponnesians try to sound Athenian (+non-Cretan Aegean islanders usually don't have an accent, Ionian islanders try to sound Italian now and then).

In east Hungary there are many crazy accent. South eastern hungarians always use ö, ü in every sentence. If you listen it for a long time it became very annoying, but at least its understandable. Rural hungarians from Borsod (north east) have the craziest accent but really, they use not just different letters but different words and grammar too. I saw such youtube video when i had no idea what is he talking about. I have talked with a borsod guy on net, and i asked him are you not hungarian or what, because he used a very different grammar like foreigners or a beginner, but he was 100% hungarian. I didn't see such thing in West Hungary. They are talking normally.

South eastern hungarians always use ö, ü in every sentence
They use it not only in Szeged but in this complete area.

Torlakian is the most distant from Serbian standard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torlakian_dialects

Linguistically Serbs from Kragujevac (central Serbia) are closer to Serbs from Glina (Croatia) than to Serbs from Pirot (SE Serbia, Torlakian speaking area). Regardless Kragujevac and Glina are 526 km distant, and Kragujevac and Pirot 207 km.
