Turkey's economy is shit for many years now, it's only stagnating. Turkey can profit from tourism and a large expat community since it will boost the international reputation of your own shit hole.

Afghans are not tourists and Turkey has a large unemployment rate so unskilled immigration is not needed. The reason they are pouring here is because our corrupt government tries to take tribute from Western powers to fill their own pockets.
