Well China does count Taiwan and Hong Kong as part of China. Even John Cena apologized when he made the mistake to think that Taiwan is some independent separate country from China. So essentially China is staying consistent to what they have been saying all along.

Even racially China, Taiwan and HK are deffo more of the same bunch compared the US team variation.
