Examples of casting in the role of a foreign ethnicity, and yet passing well in that ethnicity

I start with three examples:

Marisa Tomei: interpreted the role of a white Cuban of full/mostly Spanish stock in the movie "The Perez Family". IMO she could pass as ethnic Spanish quite well.

Wynona Ryder: interpreted the role of a white Chilean of presumably full/mostly Spanish descent. I think she would pass in Spain and as Spanish descent Latin American quite well.

Al Pacino: Played the role of a white Puerto Rican of full/mostly Spanish stock in the movie Carlitos Way. I think he looks very Italian, but at the same time he could reasonably blend in among ethnic Spaniards with nobody batting an eye, regardless of his strong southern Italian vibe.

They all looked very convincing in their roles.

She is Cuban, but not mulatta or anything like that, so she could easily pass as Chilean, yeah.

Edward James Olmos (Mexican-American) and Salma Hayek (Mexican) as Trujillo and Minerva Mirabal (Dominicans) in "In the Time of the Butterflies". They are criollo adjacent enough to have pulled it off convincingly.

Jennifer López (NYRican) as Selena in the biopic. I think she did quite a convincing job there.
