    Great thread!

Marisa Tomei is very pan-Southern Euro, she could easily fit as white Latina, nobody would blink an eye over her here, and the reason is obvious, Italics hugely overlap with Iberians, the main ancestry of white Latinos.

She could easily pass as someone named Camila Sanchéz Navarro (Hispanic-American world) or Paula de Souza Moraes (Portuguese-America).

Same for Al Pacino, even if, to me, he looks more distinctively Italic than Tomei.

Wynona Rider, pass among us, not as good (in the anthrotard sense) as the other two, but pass just fine.

My addition: Ralph Macchio (75% Italian and 25% Greek) playing Archie Rodriguez (not sure which Hispanic ethnicity the characters descends) in Ugly Betty:

Marisa Tomei has some slight resemblance to a Basque girl I was dating back in Spain years ago, and she also looks kind of similar to a Mallorcan former girlfriend of one of my brothers.

I agree. I actually think he pass better as Cuban than Rican.

I was going to say the same. Also in The Untouchables. García can pass for Italian with no problem.

Her surname may have Italian origin but she was not ethnically Italian.

Sure, but with that surname she surely had a friulian ancestor.
