Milan St. Protić is not Serbian nationalist. He is liberal, pro-western and anti-Russian. Majority of Serbs are against his political attitudes.

On the video he said Serbia has conquered Vardar Macedonia in 1912. It's different than average Serbian view, vast majority of Serbs (and most of the Serbian historians) believes that Serbia has liberated Vardarska from Ottomans in 1912.

Protić said creator of Macedonian nation is Josip Broz Tito. It's opinion of majority of Serbs as well.

Among Serbian historians one of the most "pro-Macedonian" is dr Aleksandar Raković http://tokovi.istorije.rs/eng/biogra...r-rakovic.html

According to Raković Macedonian identity is over 100 years old, and it's created on natural way. It's created as the answer on aggressive Bulgarian and Serbian nationalism in Macedonia in the second half of 19th and early 20th century. He say Bulgarian and Serbian propaganda in Macedonia in period which i mentioned in the previous sentence was too aggressive, and majority of Orthodox Slavic speaking people from Macedonia took something third - macedonism.

Raković think that Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Republika Srpska should be in some kind of union. According to him this is only way for surviving of N. Macedonia and Macedonians in long term. Otherwise, N. Macedonia it will disintegrate and divide between Albania and Bulgaria , and Macedonians will disappear as ethnos.
