Tbh amerindians are not that dark to begin with, the darkest ones tend to be Lagids, Margids and Andids. Pueblids and Amazonids for example can be quite light skinned actually, not as in nordic tier white ofcourse, but not far away from mild tanned europeans.

These are xingu, full blooded, tropical adapted people




this woman (on the left) is almost 100% native and not really dark


even this peruvian (80% native) is rather light skinned


So it is not like Amerindians are THAT darkskinned to begin with TBH


combine this with european, it seems rather easy to whitewash them, (maybe exception for Sonorid, Margid and NorthAndids as these are darker than most other amerindian phenotypes on average).

Idk about andids, my phenotype is pretty andid and I’m not that dark skinned tbh, I’m 65% Native American and only minimal Euro and my skin is somewhat yellowish which isn’t rare amongst Peruvians tbh.

I work at the airport and many Ecuadorians who are very Andid looking are between Light and Medium brown skin

Amerindian+Iberian causes an eastern european look it seems

nothing shocking, im light skin but due to my exposure to the sun playing soccer in my teen years and till now, I have a tan but I was pale as a child and im mestizo.... native americans are not dark as black people

Being sincere, I have never seen peruvians, ecuadorians or bolivians with such light skin here in Spain.

It´s light even for the natives.

Not as light like Northern Europeans but like Southern Europeans or some Middle Easterners like a pinkish color not borderline albino like Brits or Germans lol. My Co-worker from Ecuador kinda resemble that and his face is pretty Andean for the most part
