Default Would this phenotype be negro or pardo in Brazil?

Pardo is a racial category used by the Brazilian census to denote mixed race people but it seems to be based on skin complexion mostly. I imagine the concept varies by the region and even from people to people? In what category someone like this dude would fall?

I'm not Brazilian so I don't know, but the PR equivalent of pardo would be trigueńo and he would not be considered that. He would be negro.

He's an example of what consider light griffe. Basically a negroid-leaning mulatto with strong stereotypical griffe/SSA features.

In the DR he would be moreno (negro for the majority of us) but his skin complexion alone (not features) would be considered some sort of indio oscuro or just indio. It will depend on who you ask really.

    I agree.

Hmm, in PR indio is basically a mulatto with ""pelo bueno"".
