Nah, man. I get it, sometimes the posts from some members seem to be almost comically disattached...

How come?

Because the brown bears are an native species in Europe and one of the most widespread bear species (even if hunted to extinction in many places). They are found over Eurasia and even in North America and IIRC once also lived in Northern Africa.
