No one in US is getting prosecuted for hate speech, unlike most of europe. We actually have a right to bear arms, unlike much of europe. We actually have a libertarian written constitution to guarantee our liberties, unlike you English. Our population has a long-standing libertarian tradition and individualist culture. Even during covid, polls have show that Americans have been some of the most unwilling to sacrifice their rights and liberties for safety(https://voxeu.org/article/civil-libe...id-19-pandemic), and this has reflected in our relatively more libertarian response, especially in republican states.
