That ancient language 'Latin'... like do you know of any people IRL who can speak it?

Maybe some clerics from Vatican, the question is how authentic/how similar to the „real“ Latin. Students here learn to translate, not to speak Latin(and about Roman history and culture). I had Latin for 6 years and I was quite good but I never was able to talk Latin, even not during my best time.
