I am also in the same position with you as I am the third generation in Turkey but feel just the ways you do, I belong to here not Russia
I have close affinity with the ones there though

%50-55 maybe %60-65 of the population is already immigrant, mixed immigrants or they're different local ethnic group. (like Lazs, Kurds etc.) I'm just 1/4 Anatolian but I consider myself as a native. Your situation is a little more complicated but Turkey is your homeland and that's it. I consider you as native. Because as I said most people in Turkey are not fully Anatolian Turk.

I don't know enough about Turks and their presence in the Balkans to say. But aren't Balkan Turks mostly Balkan genetically? Basically mutts?

Okay but Anatolians' genetics and phenotypes are really diverse. Phenotypically speaking, you can find plenty of Central European looking Turks whereas you can also find plenty of Central/South Asian looking Turks. As placebo said, most of the locals in Anatolia are immigrants.
