Actually we Turks have various ancestral origins such as Circassian, Slavic, Arabic, Georgian, Bosnian, Greek, Albanian and etc. There fore it would not be correct to make such a distinction like ethnic minorities vs. ethnic majority.

True. Do you see those Americans from reddit 23andme?
Yes, I saw them in Reddit.

Yes, I saw them in Reddit.
Ah ok. But do you have ethnic consensus in Turkey like keeping track of ethnic groups?

    Make sense.

As far as I know, the track of ethnic groups are not kept in Turkey and most people identify their ethnic group according to how they were raised.

There is a saying: "A cat does not become a horse, even if it is born in a stable"

But you are comparing apples and oranges. Distinction between species are purely based on genetics whereas the distinction between human populations is mostly ethno-cultural.

I also have an argument. All my friends, my school, my family is in Turkey. I believe this is the most important factor which makes me native to Turkey.

You are native inn the sence that you were born there, but you are still what they call a 2:nd ord 3:rd generation immigrant, you will never be considerns as indigenous. You are a turkish citizen but your etnicity is Bosnian, but its mostly a free world so you can choose to identify with what you want, i do understand that you dont want to be an outsider among other turkish and indetify with them so you dont feel diffrent , but you shuld be proud of what you realy are

Actually, people’s perception of being native/indigenous is a bit different in Turkey. I guess, only around 45% of Turkish population is native/indigenous to the land, which makes less than half. I think this is the main reason of such difference in the definition of being native/indigenous.

Yeah, but it's not the same if somebody is Balkan Turk (who are ethnic Turks, just not from Anatolia) or Bosnian muslim (who share no ethnic relations with Turks). You can be political Turk, not a ethnic one. But if you marry ethnic Turkish woman I presume your kids would already be accepted as ethnic Turks in full. Not to mention grandchildren etc.

I think he is kinda troll but for the record i want make it clear, neither for me nor for Turkish people, those refugees which were citizens of Ottoman Empire and escaped from massacres are no different than ethnic Turks.

For example: Sabiha Gökçen, looks very strongly slavic, herself of Bosniak descent, was first female pilot of Turkey and a hero of Turkish nation.

    Spoiler!
