Default Dispensationalism is the most harmful false teaching in the church today

I have realised this recently. Actually been thinking about it for a long time, and now finally came to a point where I can say I firmly understand why it is wrong, unscriptural and against the plan of God.

Dispensationalism goes hand in hand with other false ideas, most prominently Premillenialism and the teaching of the Pretribulation Rapture.

Amillennialism seems to be the correct interpretation of the eschatological scriptures.

I was amill for a while, but am now premill again. I also agree with the pretrip rapture. Sorry, but amill is definitely wrong and makes no sense. There's so much prophecy that can only be fulfilled in a premill eschatology. Those who are in Christ are "Israel" on an individual level, whereas Israel kind of a picture of an individual, if that makes sense. All Israel shall be saved, and Paul said that blindness is happened in part of Israel until fullness of the Gentiles is come in (Rom 11:25). Really, it's amazing that the Jewish people have survived as a stateless and persecuted people for almost 2000 years. And what has God done? He has gathered them back into the land whence He scattered them (Ezekiel 11:17).

And all this has happened right on schedule. Seen the news lately? Here's an interesting scripture: Mark 5:13. There were "about" 2000 swine drowned in the sea. I believe the "swine" is a reference to the Gentiles, and the number ("about two thousand") a clue that the times of the Gentiles is appointed to last about 2000 years. As that commenced in Acts 10, we are something like a decade to a decade and a half short of exactly 2000 years.

Wanderer, what we need to understand is that the Jewish religion etc definitely will fulfill an end time role, but not the one you think. Revelation identifies Jerusalem with the Whore of Babylon - - which will be destroyed by fire one day. I fear that a repeat of 70AD is on the cards, because the Pharisees and their descendants are still opposing God. In fact Judaism is the only religion that officially insults and despises Jesus. They are going to be utterly destroyed in the end times. Those that don't repent and flee from Jerusalem.
