    Default West Slavic GEDmatch kits

Does anyone have any kit numbers they can give me from primarily West Slavic admixed individuals?

This is basically a Lusatian Sorb, but from a community that was Germanized 300-200 years ago:

    https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...Dmatch-results

The individual is from Kurmärkisch-Wendische Distrikt (region of Beeskow-Fürstenwalde) - part of Brandenburg where Sorbian (Lower Lusatian) language was dominant until the 18th century.

8 Upper Sorbs compared to Beeskow German (see the link below) in Eurogenes K36:

    https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...Dmatch-results

About 300 years ago Beeskow was a community of Lower Sorbs, later Germanized:

    https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...=1#post5604554

Kurmärkisch-Wendische Distrikt (Beeskow-Fürstenwalde area) - part of Brandenburg where Sorbian (Lower Lusatian) language was dominant until the 1700s and only Germanization policies of Prussian administration and Lutheran church led to its extinction.

For comparison here my dad's kit (all recent ancestry from Southern Wielkopolska, all surnames in recent generations Slavic Polish):

    [kit number removed]

What do you think about his results & possible explanations? I suppose that other Polish people from his sub-region have similar results.

I’m not sure what the typical South Polish results on these tests would be so I’m unsure if he is typical or not. I would assume so, but I also know historically the southern area of Poland is one of the most visited by foreigners as tourists outside of the country.

    Please unquote the kit number.

He is not from southern Poland but from southern part of this region:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Poland

I mainly mean his K15 results like 80% South Polish + 20% North German, etc. (so 20% above Polish average).

No idea where this admixture is from. See also other results he got:

    His DNA Land results are:

    His DNA Tribes results are:

That’s interesting. Pardon, I skimmed and misunderstood. Do you know if it is possible that he has Czech or Slovakian admixture somewhere along the way? Long ago German admixture is also a possibility. How far back have you been able to trace his paper trail?

I traced the paper trail only back to his 8 great-grandparents so far. I doubt he has any Czech or German.

Probably this is from Iron Age Celtic and Germanic tribes in Poland. And some of it can be recent Scottish:
