It's absolutely disportportionate to the mortality of the disease, even among the 70 + age group the surviving rate is 94,5%, and that is considering only the positive tested, millions of people already had it but we're asymptomatic or mild cases who thought it was a cold or flu and were never tested. Besides covid deaths they include people who died after positive tested not necessarily that died because of covid. Even the WHO stated that by far the number one factor for mortality is age and the second is obesity because of pre existing diseases, when 2/3 of the American population is overweight, 40% is obese and half is diabetic or pre diabetic one can see perfectly that covid is not the main health problem, many of those people would die as consequence of the seasonal flu also and other respiratory complications...like they did prior to 2020.

In NZ, practically a covid zero deaths country, hospitals are detecting that children are getting sick with higher rates because they became immune deficient because of all the confinements and lack of contact with viruses and bacterias. So in the long run the damaging health effects of that strategy can be far worse than the covid who kills overwhelminglyvold, sick and obese people.

Likewise the WHO has not recommended the vaccination to children, what are the governments doing ?

The children here have been out with friends and family almost this whole covid period. Preschools and schools ooen with children interacting normally. Masks are not worn and so forth.

So I am interested how going about our normal lives, these children have become immune deficient.

I am not so sure about Sweden - its death rate is a lot higher than the other Nordic countries, which adopted full lockdowns at various stages.

At the initial stage yes, mostly old people in care homes Wich would die sooner or later. Yet lower than many countries who did the same full lockdowns and mask mandates. So what does that tell us about the efficacy of the full lockdowns? Besides Sweden has not destroyed their economy and are better prepared with a higher rate of natural immunity (Wich is always better than the artificial) than other countries. On the long run their strategy is proving to be more beneficial.
