Althought from what I've seen Scottish cities tend to be a bit wider, so planting trees shouldn't be a mission impossible. Still the streets look so so bad without them, that everything looks even more depressive than it actually is.

I wonder if people actually thought of this before, because I swear it's really hard to name that many countries in Europe that has worse looking streets/housing than UK.
I Like to read the forums that talk about buildings and infrastructure etc.. Common complaints from the locals in Glasgow are the lack of trees, so you share something in common with your neighbours . George Square is a joke when you look to other cities.

Think I will over night become the Banksy of trees and and throw acorns and seeds everywhere.

In most countries, the more densely-populated areas usually consist of flats, whereas in Britain they usually consist of terraced housing. That is all.

Edinburgh is not too bad to be honest, but they need to get George Street full of trees when it becomes pedestrianised.

True Edinburgh is pretty nice compared to Glasgow, also compared to most of UK. It's in top 3 greenest cities in UK.

The thing is most of rich people in Glasgow live in east. George st is a bit overrated and the city center lacks alot, has a lots of shops, but there are a lot of junkies and some of building are half empty etc.. It looks pretty average to be honest. Glasgow used to be a wild place before I heard, so I guess the council and the rich people mostly invested into eastern part of Glasgow and let the peasants live far away XD
Although Townhead looks a bit decent, there are some churches, huge hospital, some decently looking student housing projects etc.

Have you seen Netherlands? More denser than UK, and their housing looks incredible, not just housing but everything infrastructure included. It feels like UK has never even been a World power, where did all money go? Rich became Richer? Or everything went into castles. You do realise there's still enough place in UK, they just could broaden their cities or actually hire smart architects.

In most of countries including Slovakia you get fined by the police if you leave dog shit on the street, Polando needs to take action.

Yes, the one without trees is safer and more clean

Maintaining them is not that hard, you create jobs which is another pro.
Don't really see this pro cause in parks there are people doing same stuff and as you can see maintaining is not hard but still it's mostly still the same team doing the job in streets and parks in some defined area(for example district)

Dog poop is job of owners and not fault of trees.
Indeed, but poop is something you can find near trees, grass and other green stuff, it works almost like magnet for shit

In summer trees can lower temperature up to 10 degrees and also better the air quality.
    Totally right, absolutely agree

I'll join the green party of Poland and plant 50 trees around your house, you're doomed.
I don't live in house but in a flat my friendo so it sounds like *mission impossible* to me
