Not really. They are West Siberians so there is not need cherrypicking. I only cherrypicking if I try find light skinned light eyed and light haired southerners. And everyone knows why.

People often don't notice very much that also the colours of lips can be connected to the original skin tone of someone, for example:

Southern European -> Fair Purple lips


Northeast Asian -> Reddish-Purple lips

These details are often ignored by some people but it can show if someone it is naturally tanned or not.

But if you put them in Madrid they would look swarthier than an average Spaniard that works on the sun and the sumo wrestler in the picture has a very dark brown nipple even, plus the guy on the left looks a bit swarthy too.
Mongols are not very dark of course, but they still have higher tanning hability than Greeks and Southern Italians.

Mongols are very dark. That is why I find very amusing the Jackie Chan band of the forum calling wog to Europeans

They aren't very dark, in fact they aren't dark at all, they are just a bit darker on average than Southern Europeans, Northern West Asians/Levantines and coastal North Africans, i am not saying that they can't be lighter than some Europeans, some individuals from Greece, Italy or Iberian Peninsula can be darker but it is a minority.
