It's just a generic eastern european background.

In the distant past Goths did mingle with Dacians. The territory of Ostrogoths and Visigoths was present day Romania and Western Ukraine before they migrated to the West. There is a late antiquity/migration period culture found in Eastern Romania that combined Daco-Romanic, Slavic and Germanic elements.
