Default Which country is overall more statist and collectivist: Denmark or Sweden?

The latest in this series. To me the two countries are very similar social democracies, although pre-pandemic Denmark had the reputation for being a bit more laissez-faire on social issues.

Sweden as far as I can tell. It also seems to be the place where the so called Jante Law operates the strongest.

Do you mean the rule of "thou shalt not appear to be wealthier or better than me?" (Key operative word being "appear").

Yep, also pride of one's group seems to be punished, outwardly at least.
