Depends on the Spanish region probably and the Atlantid type component is the Irish is a minority. Atlantid AND Germanic types are what distinquish the British from the Irish not just the Germanic type. Irish are mostly Keltic nordic + Brunn and Keltic nordic but the true Irishman Brunn + Keltid nordic or even pure Brunn. I dunno, why retards think the Irish are Atlantid there are more Atlantid like types in Wales/Cornwall/Liverpool/Midlands/Glasgow/NorthCumbria than in Ireland. It is difficult to isolate the Alantid strain in Ireland but during the Industrial revolution it became more prominent in parts of Scoltand (Glasgow etc...) and England (the midlands).

Yes the South French are the closest but the question was if Italians or British Isles (Celts) were closer. I think people looking at genetics for a while now know that the Celtic thing is very overblown because populations are mixed at any rate (or not very mixed as in similar to the Bronze Age populations) and also were the Celts even one genetic entity? Lots of unknowns and it would be an interesting discussion.
