"med" is a dumb term tbh. Turkey is technically a med country, Yet a Palestinian/Levantine, Spaniard and Turk look nothing like each other despite being med countries.

Italian, both culturally and genetically. North Italy also has a slight “Celtic” influence. This isn’t even a question for me.

hahaha, good luck finding A SINGLE Spaniard that scores 20% North African blood

You will not find not even a Canarian so
MyHeritage results from a Canarian: 19.2% North African + a bit of Negro blood.

And that's just a random results. Which mean than some Spaniards are even more African than that, like 30-35%.

That’s pretty average for a Canarian. Canarians are a mix of ethnic Spanish and native Guanches, who were genetically North African.

To be fair isleńos are distinct from spaniards in that they do have their own native genes that are identical to berbers. It is stupid to even think they wouldn't score berber genes.

Spanish and many other Europeans as well.

The process of human and cultural miscegenation that characterized the islands after the conquest resulted in the modern Canarian society. Immigrants from Europe arrived in the Canary Islands, and from the Canary Islands emigrants also left for America, even forcibly at certain times. The descendants of the indigenous people were joined by a large number of Portuguese, new settlers from Castile to whom land had been distributed, Normans, North African Berbers, black slaves who were brought to work on the sugar plantations, Jews, Genoese, Flemish and English traders, etc.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

It is stupid indeed, and by pretending that we could not find a Canarian who scores 20% NA, CV just made a fool of himself one more time.

Logically, fish live in the Mediterranean Sea, people usually live on land.

Irish, who dont speak a Celtic language, are proper Celtic people.
Spaniards, who dont speak a Celtic language neither, are not. And they not even should claim what they really claim: they are CELTIBERIANS.

    Yes, it makes sense

Current Turkish language is not the real Turkish language, indeed. Ataturk changed its alphabet from its original Arabic to the current Latin not even 100 fuckin years ago. Not even 100 years ago!
People always speaking ordinary Turkish like us. For example, I can understand a Turkish folk poem written in 1200 more easily than an Ottoman poem written in 1600. I hardly understand Ottoman Turkish. Ottoman dynasty and palace area (aristocracy) speaking heavily Arabic and Persian influenced fancy Ottoman Turkish. They used the Arabic alphabet, but since it was difficult to learn, the number of people who could read and write was very low. Atatürk made things easier by using the Latin alphabet and made the language used by the people the official language not dynasties language.
