I believe that Turkey is a melting pot of many ethnic groups (both ancient and modern alike). That's why Turks look so diverse. I wouldn't say they have on single look. They really don't. Most Turks today are a mix of Caucasian (including Armenian & Georgian), Greek, Kurdish, Iranian, Central Asian, Levantine and as well as some Baltic & Slavic. Let's just say that the Ottomans got around! There is no such thing as a Turkish ethnicity, just same way there is no such thing as an American or Argentinian ethnicity. And I don't care how controversial this assertion is. Sure, some Turks are purely Anatolian, but they're relatively a small group. Turkey has become a multiethnic society, but people just come in here and whitewash or brownwash them too much. You can't do that to an multiethnic state you fools.
