If you can buy ''organic produced food'', whatever, that should help. At least here (low corruption country) those labels needs real work. How pure and healthy the food is (salads, tomatoes etc.) and how well your animals will live. Starting from fact that veterinarian will come check your place/animals several times per year together with person from certification organization. One kind of audits. And you have to pass those to keep your label/certification. There are lots of things they will check and rules you have to follow (which nobody will control in mass farm production). And they come without warnings beforehand. But my parents have taken attitude that they are for good. One kind of partners, giving/sharing also information how to still improve things, not ''enemies''. And as doing all everyday well, it does not matter will they arrive tomorrow or next month.

And we have other projects like become fully carbon neutral farm. That is possible, not just talks (no matter one has farm animals) but needs again work. Even as we do not use any fertilizers/chemicals anymore there are human made wetlands close to river and lake (to eliminate farm's any influences to waters). We have also created wild flower fields to bees and bumblebees. One friend of mine from city said that she has never seen as many of those. Yes, there are always new things, something we still could do better/improve .

Bad side is that organic food costs more than standard one. So it is question to consumers from what they are willing to pay. If one can/could buy those directly from producers the prices should be ok.

Above was picture of calf. Some might remember then I less than 2 years ago posted these (one week old calf).



That calf is big girl now. We only have milk production cows, not meat ones. So those will live longer.
But also here ... in mass production (milk) the average lifetime of cow is just 5 years (+/- months). In nature cow (if it would be healthy wild animal/species) could opposite live almost 20 years (theoretical max.). Why so? Mass production uses cow breeds which have been very strongly breed. Those are like turbo-boost animals, only purpose to produce milk. Their periods to calfe have also been made unnatural/shorter and shorter. Unfortunately same time those cows have gotten and will get different kind of diseases. Our cows (used breed) and life conditions, they will reach easily 10 - 12 years lifetime, even over 15. Oldest has been 18 years old. So I hope the calf above will have many good years to live .

North Europeans are total beasts and very hypocrite. Instead of looking at themselves they focus on others to cover their own shit.

British for example extinguished wolves, bears, lynx and ravens in UK, and almost the American buffalo. Yet they are the main foreigners to criticize the bullfighting.

Ravens are not extinguished they are widespread in upland areas, wolves and bears agree, but that was a long long time ago. The UK banned fox hunting and any other hunting nearly 20 years ago due to huge public pressure.

The UK leads the world in conservation and has more animal welfare charities per head than anywhere else in the world. This is why they criticise bullfighting I guess
