Truth be told, cruel and primitive practices exist in Hungary and Croatia unfortunately too. So called traditional pig slaughter that is like public holiday for rural regions when people even bring their kids to watch poor pigs being slaughtered in public in cruel ways! Many villages hold such pigslaughter events as their festive days each year.

And pigs are very caring and intelligent animals.
