Nuke sub deal could make Australia 'potential nuclear war target'

I suggest Australia mobilize & get nuclear weapons in less than 5 years to deter the Chinese.

    Sacrebleu!

The defense technology alliance between Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom is a real blow for France — given Canberra’s decision to cancel a €50 billion submarine deal with the country in favor of American-made nuclear-powered submarines.

France's Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, has described the decision to cancel a $90 billion submarine deal as a "stab in the back", but Australia's Defence Minister, Peter Dutton, says he will not apologise for the decision.

Oh well. It was a bad deal anyway. Would have been redundant by the time they were delivered IIRC.
