No. Its totally different. They and Mongoloids along with Negritos, Andamanese belong to the same ENA aka Eastern Non-African which is a mega-group of different pops though.

Indeed, they also have high Australoid ancestry after their ancestors start mixing with Melanesians/Papuans when the former arrived in Oceania.
