Because simply put communism doesn't let you become wealthy, choose your career, drive a Corvette , be proud of your heritage, have a healthy nuclear family, and practice your religion.

As an economic system communism has many flaws because it doesn't let the individual to invest, expand his/her business, becoming entrepreneur, and since everything needs to pass and regulated by the government there will be less diversity on products and services. This will lead to less competition and therefore less advance in society....so say bye to smartphones

Nothing beats capitalism in terms of economic and personal development. Of course it's necessary to have state intervention that will ensure people's rights, environmental protection, moral values, and growth on a national level.

First of all I'm not a communist neither a socialist but rather I've my own views/preferences, I personally consider certain things positive from the communist party, some essential needs that I think are such as 100% free healthcare free 100% college. But before you say but nothing Is free everything Is paid by taxes, SUREE but at least the government Is able to manage that properly rather than have everything privatized for profit first.

Because ownership gives individuals freedom. No ownership means you're slave to party leaders' whim.
