The french appeared!! Now we are partly "countrymen", even though my french ancestry is from Aquitaine, and yours from the north!

I'm asking because on other forums there is a Canadian user Souriquois, she also has ca. 2% Amerindian DNA and she considers herself a Metis, AFAIK.

I've never given it much thought, but it seems silly to identify with such an insignificant amount of genetic ancestry. I've never felt attached to that culture in particular, nor felt that it constituted any part of my upbringing so no.
