I just checked it, and I only have an Ecuadorian female relative. The Ancestry DNA website is too slow at this moment to look up your relatives, and I can not even retrieve her profile and ancestry composition.

You should see how much centimorgans you share (cm)
If your anywhere from 1st-3rd cousins you definitely probably have a recent ancestor with that person.
From 4-6, you do but its much more distant.

She is 5th to 8th cousin. I just checked it.

Its pretty distant. You probably do have a common ancestor but its definitely some generations back.
