On August 23, 2021, the whole of Greece heard and watched the well-known doctor Theodoros Vasilakopoulos, professor of Pulmonology at the Kapodistrian University, call the director of the Artificial Kidney of the General Hospital of Edessa, Sotiris Vassilios, "illiterate". Sotiris Vassiliou refuses to be vaccinated, explaining the reasons. He has coronavirus disease and has, as he explains, the necessary antibodies, which he checks at regular intervals with the special test required. For the record, Sotiris Vassileiou then called Theodoros Vasilakopoulos "ridiculous".
Watch a typical excerpt from this televised confrontation:
he video with the confrontation of Sotiris Vassilios with Theodoros Vasilakopoulos has since gone viral. The reactions that were counted were many. One of them creates an impression and causes maximum scientific interest. This is a letter of support to the director of the Artificial Kidney of the Edessa General Hospital, Sotiris Vassilios, from the molecular biologist and special genomician Giasemi Kapsalis, who is an RNA researcher and head of the largest research center in New Jersey. 6 General Hospitals of this State. Doctor Sotiris Vassileiou sent this letter of support to Makis Triantaphyllopoulos on September 7th. The e-mail with the letter of Jasmine Kapsali is as follows:
Sotirios Vassiliou: Dear Mr. Triantaphyllopoulos,
Considering that you are one of the last pockets of journalistic credibility at the national level, we are sure that you will find extremely interesting the letter-support we received from a brilliant international career scientist who lives and works in the USA.
The letter was sent on the occasion of the insulting attack that I personally received from a well-known distance teacher, on a show of a large national channel, during a discussion on the pandemic and the vaccinations that concern it.
We believe that the views of the scientist greatly illuminate the truth about what is happening in relation to the pandemic, so we thank you very much for publishing it!
Sincerely
Vassilios Sotiris
Artificial Kidney Unit Manager

The letter
"Dear Mr. Director,
My name is Jasmine Kapsali and I am a molecular biologist working in New Jersey, USA.
"I would never have imagined that the time would come for me to sit down and write a letter of support to someone - a self-evident expert - who, supporting the obvious, was called" illiterate "! The smoker called illiterate a battle doctor who summarizes all medicine every day!
Forgive me, please, the rage, but, although I know the downside of some in our area, I did NOT expect him to ever admit to reaching such unheard of misery !!! I was ashamed that I let my generation and I get away with it so much. We looked to build careers and personal successes and left behind the sanctuaries and the sacred to be demolished.
»I was born and raised in Heraklion. I studied in England and started postgraduate studies at the Medical School of Crete, but I did not have the "appropriate mentality" and as a girl things were prescribed in order to make an academic career. I chose to keep my dignity and serve combat science. I got married and after my marriage I moved to America.
My specialty is molecular oncology diagnostics, specializing in RNA isolation and stabilization. I also specialize in preimplantation and perinatal molecular diagnostics.
Until December 2020, I was working as the head of the Genomics Laboratory at America's third largest diagnostic laboratory (OPKO Health-Bioreference Labs). My job was to make preimplantation and perinatal diagnosis for inherited diseases as well as for cystic fibrosis. On a rotating basis and due to specialty, whenever there was a need, covers and hematology / oncology.
In December 2020, I was approached by the largest New Jersey health group (6 general hospitals) to set up and operate a Genomics and Personalized Diagnostic Laboratory. The proposal was very attractive plus I would have complete freedom to organize a state-of-the-art laboratory with a large number of support staff and ample funding. The purpose was for the machines already used to diagnose the coronavirus to be used for the genomic diagnosis when the -and anyway- pandemic- would end in three months, as I was then told by the hospital. I did not see the trap… The three months have come and gone and oh, what a surprise, we are still doing coronavirus - and we are busier than ever!
And coming to this, I want to tell you that you are right in everything you say on this issue of compulsory vaccination and the vaccination of those who already have antibodies. I had the good fortune to get sick with Covid in March 2020. I was measuring my antibodies until December 2020 and it was high. I refused the vaccination (here for the sick they give a dose) and although since January I have daily contact with thousands of samples, thank God, I have not been sick for even an hour. I work normally, NO ONE FORCED ME TO GREAT, and the hospital only asks us to do a rapid test a week, completely free (not the resilience I hear in Greece with mandatory and rapids from the pocket of every part-time and low-wage earner).
"We arrived here in May-June not to look positively. (Vaccinations here started en masse at the beginning of the year. New Jersey has about 80% vaccinated). From mid-July until now, we have reached and exceeded the winter numbers (if we consider that just six months after the vaccination, the vaccinated began to get sick again). And yes, most positives are BREAKTHROUGH cases, that is, vaccinated people who become infected and get sick again. We run and do not reach with breakthroughs.
"When they did not start vaccinating 12 and over, we did not have time to see pericarditis and myocarditis (mainly in boys).
"I could write you whole volumes about what is happening, the monstrous lies I hear about coronavirus from Greek doctors and scientists and everything that makes me pull my hair, but I do not want to tire you.
I admire you for your high scientific ethos and for the heroism you display in a dark and wild age.
»My mobile number is ........................... and if you have Viber I will be very happy to tell you. I stand by your side and please consider that I am at your disposal for anything I could offer to your struggle with my meager forces.
"Sincerely,
"Jasmine Z. Kapsali".
After all this, it was self-evident that there should be direct contact and discussion in all matters with the Greek scientist, who also has prestige and whose scientific competence is unquestionable, since she is specialized in issues related to RNA research. On the morning of Wednesday, September 8, the interview given by Giasemi Kapsali to Makis Triantaphyllopoulos took place via Skype.
The science expert answered all the hot and crucial questions about coronavirus vaccination, the issues of side effects that arose from existing vaccines, the specific side effects found in vaccinated children and adolescents (especially pericarditis and mumps). issues of immunity, collective and individual, as well as for the moral level problems that arise with compulsory vaccinations, etc.
This interview clarifies many things and provides answers to a set of questions that have plagued societies for many months.
