I got tested with FTDNA because Is cheaper since I'm paying my college fees and rent, so 23andme isn't among my priorities yet lol.

    I scored 8% but I doubt It that's alot. I'm probably 3-5% mena but some calculator's give me 8-15%

I do think I have Jewish ancestors because my grandmother roots were from south Zacatecas and North los altos de Jalisco.

Like in most Hispanic countries, our ancestry is overwhelmingly Spanish, specifically from the central-south regions of Spain.

I score high Portuguese and especially high Italian. I was once asked on here if I had an Italian ancestor as a matter of fact, lmao.

Probably comes from your Canarian ancestry, if I had to guess. There was a strong presence of Portuguese & Genoese merchants and settlers on the islands. Not to mention that sometimes you see Canarians scoring a weirdly high NW Europe percentage as well. The first conquerors of Canarias were Normans, and the first settlers too...which is precisely why you can find surnames like Betancour and such. There were also Flemings who were dedicated to trade and the British who promoted the cultivation of the vineyard and introduced the plátano there.

Descontando la ancestría sefardía (que podría ser considerada española), al 98% o algo así.
