Communism was never implemented but we know that in Soviet socialism classes had most vague borders. A person could define ones class in his youth by acquiring a proper education which was free. High schools were standard. Of course the family still defined a lot in ones upbringing.

Social conditions were similar too. So, the person number 1 of my region Medunov lived in a big 5 floor apartment building together with many much more ordinary people.
