Which is easier to tell apart: blonde and light brown hair or black and dark brown hair?

In both cases I find the distinction is often tenuous.

For me personally Black from dark Brown, but I think its like that for most people, I have light Brown hair think lol ,some say its dark blonde or kind of blonde others say just brown .

If the sun's rays hit the hair directly, I think it is between black and dark brown hair. In normal brightness blonde and light brown hair
