By standards of living, Athens is the richest place in of Greece and a job hub of Greece, otherwise if u have a stable income, Peloponese is the best, Also Mainland Greece places like Epirus are cheap and with wild landscape. I could never live on Crete though.

Definately not Athens is the worst and nowadays is really toxic and you can't have many job opportunities in Athens if they claim different thing they lie

Thessaloniki is more beautiful than Athens and the people in Thessaloniki are more pleasant too

Kavala for me it's very beautiful and a great option for everyone (I have relatives there)

Other cities are Volos in Magnesia

Chalkida in Euboea

Crete island is the most beautiful place and a real heaven

Chios and Mytilene islands are very beautiful they are paradise too and have good people

Kalamata the most beautiful big city for me in Peloponesse

From Ionian islands I would choose Cephalonia and Zakynthos cause they beautiful, they are bigger so you can find easier many things to do and have good people. Lefkada and Ithaki have great people too but are small islands so your choices are limited

I could never live in Epirus NEVER their place is beautiful but the Epirots are weirdos and not hospitable people at all and you can't find nothing interesting to do in Epirus, all your choices are limited. It's billion times better to live in Aigina in Argosaronikos or in Chalkida city in Euboea so much better for your psychology and you have far more things to do there than in any big city in Epirus. And no place in Epirus cannot be compared with beautiful Crete and Macedonia and Cretans and Pontians are best people on average to deal with not like Epirots.

Corfu is beautiful and has choices unlike Epirus but Corfiots are not the people you want to see everyday or live among them . Corfu it's good for one or two visits in your life nothing more
