Definitively NOT France-Spain, since southern French are relatively close to Spaniards genetically, and no much different from Spaniards pigmentation wise. Even assuming they (southern French) are lighter than Spaniards is not by much.

I voted for Austria-Italy, since the differences between those two (even only talking about Northern Italy) is way more sharper than in any of the other European borders on the poll.

If you're trying to prove that those two photos look that dramatically different from each other then you're doing a pretty poor job.

They do though, while many northern Spanish look very French(see my threads on Gijon and Burgos) there is a significant minority everywhere that is on the darker side and looks very much Med, any southern French that look very Med are probably not fully French.

The two photos are different, but it isn't like the first one looks Scandinavian and the second one Middle Eastern.
