A lot of south asians and arabs are taken for Hispanic here (or at least at times other Hispanics would ask them for directions in Spanish at first glance). It's a common ocurrence lol

Many Dominicans pass as South Asians and other new world groups. And like Tooting pointed out, not all 50/50 mulattoes come out looking like Lewis Hamilton. We are diverse group. I am only 25% SSA and I'm still an stereotypical Dominican (or what could be considered stereotypical here). You guys sound so off when you make posts like this. The average Dominican genetically is actually less than 50% SSA. Probably like 40% or something.

They look either spanish or mullato or quadroon (like white with a ssa nose) they cannot pass as southasians, maybe 1% can pass as southasians, they however can pass as mixed type melanesians, but also not as full melanesians maybe like half melanesian half white.

I'd say yes. The second one from the left on the top row looks as if he were related to the former Minister of Economy, Juan Ariel Jimenez, while the last one to the right on the top row looks as if he were related to me.
