What would Greece be like today if the Turks never crushed Byzantium and took Anatolia? I bet that Greece be a much more populous country, and they would have more political influence in Europe. Also Greece would be a bastion of Christian heritage, being one of the largest Greek Orthodox countries, the second after Russia. Greece would also be more culturally diverse, with different regional cultures in Anatolia, just like there are slight differences between Crete and Macedonia. What do you all think?
