Rich nightlife is usually sign of degenerated society. Either many artists/other useless "free professions" in one place, or lot of unemployed and criminals. People with free time and /or with money, but not much obligations.
Stay away from places with bustling nightlife.

Night is for sleeping. It's natural. Only bums sleep during the day and are active in night (drug dealers for example). It's ok when you are teen/student, but it is really odd to see grown person with family who parties during working days.

Couldn't agree more. Okay if you go out with friends in the evening for an occasional drink or two, but nobody can convince me that partying until early mornings and behaving like total degenerates is anything less than abnormal.

Regarding European cultures some experts cluster the Balkan in either the eastern or Southern Hemisphere, or on its own. However they make a separation with Greece which is always Southern Europe together with Italy and spain.

Turkish culture probably a legacy from the Ottomans! Ha! Ha! Ha! Greek culture is Mediterranean and Southern European.

IMO we belong to both, we have elements of both spheres in our culture. Balkans is a unique region.

But when I really observe the way of life of East Slavs I say we're more Southern European. Linguistics/religion is the only thing tying us to the other Slavs.
