    Examples: the bible, quran, or some philosophical/political/sacred text or writing etc..

    None.

    There is nothing "holy" about any book. Using your own interpretation of a "holy" text that has been around for thousands of years doesn't make you or your religion any more logical.

    To quote Ricky Gervais:

    You see... If you took every holy book that has ever existed... every religious book, every bit of spirituality and hid them or destroyed them... Then you took all science books and destroyed them too, in a thousand years time the science books will be back exactly the same because the test will always turn out the same... Religious books on the other hand will either never exist or they'd be totally different.
