Is bagging groceries a job for low iq individuals?

I was hired to work in the produce department , and in just one day, the manager spoke with me and said in context that I was not the best fit for that position. They demoted me to bagging groceries. I will be putting people's groceries in a sack and carrying things out to their car if desired. I was concerned about the implications, that in so many words, they believe I am not "smart enough" to work in produce. Granted, I have zero experience working in produce ( I originally applied for the customer service position). Perhaps I failed the evaluation when on the first day I told the guy training me that I was too afraid to use the trash compactor. I value my my digits for playing piano! Well then the next day they tell me I will no longer work in produce. "We want to make sure you are in a good fit for our company". This is a grocery store, not MIT! I feel as though I failed some sort of IQ TEST on the job. What should I take from this?

Yes, but not for the reason you just stated. It is not a low IQ job if you are still a teen in highschool or something.
