Show us your Eurogenes K13 finally and we'll see if the South Asian is real. This test is probably the least reliable one out there.

The 0.1% means nothing, that's why they don't analyze it. It also means nothing if it says you have 0.1% South Asian, or Oceanian, or Meghrebi, or anything. It also doesn't matter if Eurogenes says you have 0.1% or 1.4% South Asian, or anything. None of these tests are that specific, they are simply using algorithms to generalize, or guess, made against averages.

No calculator is so accurate that a 0.1 - 2% or so result has any true meaning. As I said earlier, it might, but it very much also might not. A different calculator may give you very different results with those small percentages. Someone with a distant Oceanian ancestor may show 1% or less result which is accurate; another person with no Oceanian ancestor, ever, may still show a 1% just because of the nature of the algorithm of the calculator as well as what segments the calculator is calling "Oceanic" (another calc may call the the segment[s] SE Asian, Austronesian, whatever...).

My Results

Looking over the results posted here it seems like they’re doing a decent job, in some sense better than 23andme. For example they assigned you 4.9% Pakistan & Afghan and 4.5% Punjabi, whereas Kurds (Iraq) get 16-29% Pakistan & Afghan and 0 Punjabi. This is in contrast to 23andme where Kurds are assigned only 2-5% Central-South Asian and some Afghans are artificially 90% South Asian, basically throwing them in the same bucket as Indians just so they fit within their geographical borders without regard to the actual ancestry of Kurds, Persians, Afghans and Turks

So cool yes I think this test is about 90 95 percent accurate and it's becoming one of the top tests on Amazon. It's dumb when people here knock it for giving a country right next to their main country of origin. I'm really only intrigued on the south asian it's given some of us who didn't see that on other tests.
