haha okay that makes more sense. We have black bears here in Colorado that are actually pretty friendly. My bf encountered one on his hike not too long ago. They were eating the blueberries. But you're right about not getting close to a bear with her cubs. That's a death sentence.

Interesting photo. Just as there is another adult bear pretty close. After 3 cubs. As mother looks that restful/relax, another adult bear needs to be 1.) female and probably 2.) also a bear she knows/recognizes (hers own mother, daughter, sister etc.). Bears have good memory.
