The Uralic word "who" also has a cognate in Proto-Yukaghir and Proto-Eskimo-Aleut according to Fortescue (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uralo-Siberian_languages). "Who" is "*ke" in Proto-Uralic. It is "kuka" in Standard Finnish in the nominative case, but other cases have the stem "ke-".
This is "minä" in both Proto-Uralic and Standard Finnish:
Fortescue gives this the form "*an'a" in Proto-Uralic and "*a(a)na" in Proto-Eskimo-Aleut (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j7A...-fo3Q4pgH/view, page 144):
The "al-" stem in Hungarian goes back to Proto-Uralic "*ëla" according to Wikipedia. "Below" is "alla" in Standard Finnish and "al" in Southwestern Finnish. Fortescue: "PU ala 'space below' (Sammallahti ïla, Proto-Samoyedic ila; Yukaghiric al 'below', also Ugric alama 'straw insole or underlayer')" Proto-Eskimo-Aleut: "at(ə)- 'below' (PY aci-, perhaps <*al-tə), A ac- 'lower part'."
To hear is "kuulla" in Finnish, from Proto-Uralic "*kule-", which is also the source of the Hungarian "hall" according to Wikipedia. Fortescue gives it the cognate "qol" ("sound") in Kolyma Yukaghir.

Yeah f*ck NATO, let's join Turkic Council. Then we can project the power of the steppe on the global theater.
Finland is one of the few regions of the IAU that is not landlocked, so it will enable us to become a great sea power once the reign of Eurasia is restored to IAU (Inner Asia and Uralic):

NATO is mostly an anti-Russian (formerly sold as an anti-Soviet) enterprise that is driven by Cold War era American interests and still persists to today. Turkey is a part of NATO still, and Hungary is already part of the Turkic council. If there was some larger scheme afoot in Eurasia, it obviously would never happen without the passivity of the United States. The USA arms, funds and trains NATO troops and provides the majority of support even when looking at all of the other nations combined.
I think that talking about that is a bit outside of the scope of this thread, but I would be interested in your thoughts about how you see something like that unfolding. If you want to have a talk about it openly, you can start a thread about it or otherwise PM me your takes. Thanks for the support!

The Turkic Council is mostly a symbolic institution, and Hungary is only an observer member because of Orbán's delusions about pan-Turanism, but whenever his government falls I am positive the next government won't find anymore reasons to take part in this club.
