The number of people who think that China is something that is being "opposed" by the west are staggeringly high. If there was ever a moment in time where the truth was revealed, it was during the COVID 19 pandemic. Regardless of anyone's belief in the origins of the virus, it was a stumbling point for China: the giant has staggered. It was the perfect excuse for "Brutus-like politicians" to stab this growing economic Caesar in the back, using any excuse, with all of the other "human rights violations" China commits as only icing on the cake.

But what happened?

The western powers couldn't wait to get China back online to keep buying cheap goods, services and to advertise their own western delicacies to China's ever-growing middle class. Nobody cares about the Uyghurs; Apple's CEO would sooner fly to Xi's manor to personally "service" him rather than give up the flow of products by even 1%. Nobody cares about COVID 19/gain of function research that's outsourced to other countries. It's not even just one or two superpowers; China pulls the strings and owns so much of so many key components because they think in terms of generations and not in electoral cycles.

Only idiots, true and honestly ignorant, will not understand this: China has been anointed as the economic torch-bearer of the future. Everything is playing out accordingly to reflect this.
