I'm likely not asked, but nevertheless: I think they were Belausian-like and came from northwesternmost Ukraine (approximately).

In my opinion real proto-Slavs were Ukrainian-like, because Belarusians have a high Baltic admix, anyway there is no big difference between Ukrainians and Belarusians.

You're probably right, but I think it's not necessary to be that picky here, she just wanted to show that Bosniaks are genetically more Savic than Bulgarians and Serbs, and that's correct.

Maybe this supposed Baltic admixture in Belarusians is overestimated and in fact they have less of it. Anyway, check my other thread:

^^^ It seems that Early Slavs were something in-between Belarusians and Ukrainians. At least these samples which I have selected.

Not really shocking..Serbs are known already to be less Slavic by far than Bosniaks just like Bulgarians.
Part of Bosniaks got our central/east Croat genetics due to Islamization after the Ottoman empire pushed further to regions like Slavonia which heavily destructed the population and moved them to Central/East Bosnia..thats why they re so Slavic shifted, some of them are more in genetics Croat than Croats.
Ofcourse not all Bosniaks are closer to Croats or that they re more Slavic/Germanic shifted..there are still southern Bosniaks who are in range of Serbia,Macedonia,Montenegro etc..

Illyrian theory is stupid and pointless..dont know why people belive that.
