Wrong. Autosomal and Y-DNA tests point to the contrary. Since you mentioned Sarmatians, you should know that R1a-Z93 is very rare among Slavs. The European steppe people such as the Sarmatians got assimilated by invading Turkic tribes, who were culturally closer to them than Slavs were.

Sarmatians and their mixed groups like Alans have presence deep in the Celtic territories in France, Ireland and Wales. Once upon a time there was a cline extending from India-Iranic part to Northern parts of Europe. Those who left behind probably got assimilated in Turkic Khanetes and Ottoman and Seljugs
We are seated at a round table, a standard feature in Ossetian households and a symbol of friendship that has its links with Camelot and King Arthur, whose story of the sword Excalibur was recently traced back to an Ossetian legend. According to Scott Littleton and Linda A. Malcor, the legend was brought to England by the Alani, who were also one of the many Caucasian people to revere the pre-Christian St George as the god of the mountains and patron of all men.

I established ancient Sarmatian cluster, calculated average coordinates and compared to modern populations.
Some Tajik subgroups are the closest, then comes Volga Tatars, Komi, Besermyans. Northern Russians are closer than Southern Russians, and Ukrainians are a bit closer than Southern Russians.
I need also Scythian, Gothic and other clusters.
And i will look for other methods to compare Sarmatians, because higher similarity with Northern populations is partly due to common ANE and Steppe ancestry.

Why do you always think one-sided? Maybe its the other way around? Huns conquered Hungary with Turkic language and culture but now Hungary appears with an Ugric language and Slavo-Germanic culture.
I expect at least a curiosity about dominant hoplogroups in Turkic peoples. It shows low amount of east eurasian y-dna in every age of Turkic peoples. And you can find western y-dna like R1 and J2 everywhere, even in northern China.
Maybe Sarmatians assimilated Turks who knows??

Maybe also check the distances to these two assumed early Slavs from Pohansko, Moravia, as they are somewhat Baltic shifted:
