That map sucks. I have lived 10 years in Albacete and there 8/10 supported Real Madrid. Santiago Bernabéu was from that province and the amount of Real supporters is infinitely higher.Originally Posted by Defcon2

I guess Spain doesn't have the culture of being a fan of their own city's team. Everyone is a fan of successful team. It's the same in here.

I even did not notice it since I only focused in Albacete since it is a spot within that map
Looking in detail the map I see La Rioja is another tieand it lacks Teruel, Palencia, Zamora, Soria and Segovia, which you can bet your ass support Real Madrid by far. In Segovia there are tons of Atlético fans by the way.
I doubt in my province there are more people that support Valladolid than Real Madrid too.
Balearic Islands is another tie according the map but I think there they support more Barcelona than Real Madrid for historical reasons.
More or less, yes. But this happens because football in Spain is not only a sport but a very political issue.
