You have no idea what you're talking about. Marx is the originator of the "critical theory" where any social issue has to be interpreted as a conflict between oppressors and oppressed, be it in the economics/wealth realm (class conflict), or racial, gender, sexual leaning, cultural etc spaces. Marx encouraged from the very beginning such criticism to cover all social aspects. He also encouraged a revolutionary ethos, in other words, morally motivated political violence - hence the pile of millions of murders in the name of marxism growing ever since.
There are other political and cultural currents that merged into marxism, like post-modernism, but for all intents and purposes, these distinctions are irrelevant. It's like arguing which extreme right groups are fascist or nazist - who the fuck cares? This is just a poor diversion attempt. All current extreme left positions can be safely labeled as neo-marxist, regardless of how vehemently some dispute that.
